You could say painting and decorating is in our blood. Since starting out with a bike and a set of ladders from the Newland Avenue home of Peter Daddy in 1961, we’ve come a long way.

After setting up his first office in Granville Street off Anlaby Road in Hull, Peter quickly enjoyed rapid growth and it was not long before he moved into our current Hessle Road headquarters.

During the late 1990s, Peter’s retirement saw him place overall control into the hands of his son Malcolm, who has continued to steer our customer service driven ethos ever since in his role as Chief Executive.

After learning his trade and working in the business for 25 years, Malcolm’s son Chris now oversees day-to-day operations as Managing Director, with responsibility for quality control and establishing new service areas.
